I don’t have much to say about this particular book, Year of the Hangman. It is a novel about alternate possibilities of events in history. Namely, what if the American colonies lost to Britain during the revolution?
It is quite interesting in its portrayal of George Washington, American revolutionists, and the British aristocracy and soldiers. It is a story of maturing/growing up and persistence. A short and sweet read.
