You Can Be Happy No Matter What – Richard Carlson.

This book was among a stack of books at my parents’ trailer, whose it was originally I don’t remember. As the title says, it was exploring common topics among people who don’t believe they are happy, or not always. The most memorable advice that has stuck with me is not to take bad moods or down periods too seriously. Sometimes, we just feel bad, we can’t always feel good. The problem lies in taking it too seriously and assuming it must have deeper meaning. Realizing that you are in a bad mood and not taking it seriously, allowing it to just pass, will shorten its duration and ultimately make you feel better. You won’t have re-questioned your whole life in the process.
