My sister introduced the Warriors series to me when I was about 5 or 6, and I’ve been reading them up until my Sophomore year of college. I was just looking on their website and found there’s another 6 book set in the making. In total, there are 78 books, excluding the manga, and I’ve read 54 of them. The series begin in 2003.
In my previous post, Book Reads of the First Half of 2021, I wrote about the book “Darkness Within,” and The Broken Code chapter of the series. The new chapter is A Starless Clan, with four books currently, which I plan to go to the library and start this morning.
The series is absolutely fabulous, and I’ve already marked it as a series I would like my future kids to read, if that ever happens haha. It is an easy read and delves the readers into all kinds of social, ethical, and emotional dilemmas. It introduces scenarios that are good to consider and stretch one’s thinking. Though the sequence of drama is highly repetitive, but that happens to be how people are.

Per some encouragement from another Warriors fan, I got the fourth book of the Dawn of the Clans section. I wasn’t sure which book I had left on, but after reading this one, I remember it. So it is probably the next one that is new. Only thing is, I actually got really tired of the repetitiveness this time and just flipped pages to see what happens and returned it. Maybe if I have a bunch of free time, I’ll read the rest of this section.
