In order to distract myself from my own thoughts, I started looking into getting into one of the large game universes such as Mass Effect, Witcher, or Elder Scrolls. Though when I started it almost immediately got old, since I want to be doing something productive or going outside. Perhaps it is an issue of mine, but hey, it’s more productive.
So instead I listened to the audiobook version of Mass Effect, specifically Revelation, by Drew Karpyshyn. It is more or less considered the first book. The universe it presents is sort of intriguing, there are some aspects different than the typical sci-fi background, although the plot itself was very unimaginative. It may get better as the books progress, from what I’ve already spoiled myself of, or once commander Shepard is introduced. This book alone I’d rate as alright, wouldn’t recommend it.
