Red Gambit is the first book of four in the Harvester series. It is set in a post-apocalyptic earth that was destroyed by a race of lizard humanoids, who continue to seek control over humanity. Until you find out they have scarier masters… Very entertaining and funny, the main character is a smart ass who plays the rule of reluctant hero. And happens to have the only existing exoskeleton and the ability to use it, which allows him to fight on par with the lizards. I would highly recommend the series, the books get better as you go.
